Hours: 8am-12pm Monday-Thursday
JOB SUMMARY
Provide professional, efficient customer service to external customers in Service/Parts Department, in person, email and on the phone. Provide excellent internal customer service, working closely with sales and service staff, drivers, vendors, etc, to adhere to service/golf car build deadlines. Record service estimates and invoices, parts and accessories inventory in Quickbooks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Customer service in person, on the phone, and via email to schedule customer appointments in Quickbooks, explain repairs, suggest parts and accessories, take payments, resolve customer issues
Dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver carts
Using Quickbooks, create and update estimates, work orders, and invoices for service
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Price and display parts and services; enter in Quickbooks.
Load/unload batteries, tires, chargers, seats, etc for the customer as needed
Coordinate staff to run local errands such as purchasing service supplies, picking up/delivering golf car seats to upholsterer, picking up parts at wholesalers, etc
MS Excel tasks: update correspondence sent, update vendor contact list
MS Word tasks: update binder labels, update, create or print forms, etc
Internet usage: find new products and vendors, print maps for drivers
Administrative tasks: filing invoices/estimates/contracts, put keys on key chains, make photocopies, send faxes, create binders, organize service counter, etC
Email correspondence: respond, file in appropriate email folder, forward as needed
Assist with promotional events, as needed
Collections: use Quickbooks to identify unpaid customer invoices, follow up with customers to collect payments via phone and mail, run payments
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Quickbooks or other database experience.
Must be a proficient typer.
Must have customer service experience and superior communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with a wide variety of customers and coworkers, on the phone, in person and in writing. Must be able to solve customer issues.
Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multitask
Ability to learn and retain knowledge of golf car maintenance, terminology of parts and types of repairs for fielding customer inquiries, scheduling the appropriate service work, and explaining the repair diagnosis
Operation of a golf car, pc and keyboard, printer, battery charger
Ability to lift 60 pounds occasionally to unload chargers and tires customers, as needed.
