We are seeking an experienced Preschool Director with current Director and VPK credentials to oversee the daily operations of our small 3 classroom Preschool, including staff management, curriculum development, budgeting & financial planning & ensuring compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate is a strong Christian with a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, & the ability to create a nurturing & stimulating environment for young learners. Our school follows the Sarasota County Public Schools calendar (summers & holidays off).
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a practicing Christian
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
FL Child Care & Education Director Credentials awarded by the FL Dept of Children & Families
VPK Certification
Minimum of 5 years in a preschool setting, admin experience preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, & problem-solving skills
Current certification for First Aid & Adult/Child CPR
