A Civil Engineering firm has openings for a Civil Engineering AutoCAD Technician/Designer to join our dynamic team in our Port Charlotte office.
DESCRIPTION:
This position will use verbal directions, computations and engineering data to prepare drawings that meet company quality objectives and client standards using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. They will have the ability to apply sound engineering principles to the development of detailed design drawings, under the guidance and direction of senior engineers and project managers. The individual will be responsible for the design and development of drawings of residential and commercial projects including all phases of land development: site layout, utilities, grading and drainage.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
⢠Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience.
⢠The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and will be detail oriented.
⢠Team oriented individual that works in cooperation with others to satisfy the overall project objectives.
⢠Self-motivated and capable of satisfying multiple project requirements simultaneously within a deadline sensitive environment
COMPENSATION: Pay will be set based on experience and capability. Company provides free health care and 401K matching benefits.
