Florida Studio Theatre is hiring for part time Hosts. FST is a live professional theatre in Downtown Sarasota that has 5 theatres and a restaurant, The Green Room Cafe & Bar.
“The Green Room” provides indoor and outdoor dining for performances in FST's Gompertz and Keating Theatres. This is an active theatre scene with performances on nights and weekends, as well as the occasional Wednesday or Friday matinee (afternoon show).
Applicants must be 16 years of age and above. We are looking for individuals who are well dressed and presentable to provide a wonderful first impression for our patrons as they arrive.
This is a great position for high-schoolers, as hosts typically get out at 8:30 PM.
Responsibilities include:
· Seat and greet patrons as they arrive for reservations
· Assist with set up of the Green Room in preparation for guests
· Assist the theatre House Managers with lobby cleaning tasks
· Support the restaurant staff and servers as needed (running water, bussing, etc.)
