Growing multi-unit independent hospitality company in Bradenton, FL is seeking a qualified Restaurant General Manager. A fine-casual restaurant that specializes in a wide-ranging selection of house-made meals served in several distinct dining areas giving guests a choice of cuisine and scene.
If you are an enthusiastic, team first, people & community oriented Restaurant General Manager with experience operating high-volume, high-end concepts and are looking for new growth opportunities, this may be the ideal position for you. Ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated, a thought leader and hold a keen eye for detail.
General Manager Qualifications
5+ years of fine dining, upscale or high-end concept leadership experience is required
Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
Exceptional communications skills and commitment to providing excellent service to guests
Proven operating, financial and marketing acumen
Results-driven leader with charisma, drive, and tenacity
Ability to lead, influence and develop organizational capability within the restaurant
Natural capacity to quickly establish and build effective relationships across the organization
High energy and ability to react to situations quickly and decisively, possessing self-confidence to be assertive when taking a position, and not afraid to make decisions
Candidates with knowledge of tasting menus, P&L analysis, wine inventory and buying, scheduling are encouraged
Certified Sommelier preferred but not required
