We have a unique small vacation property on Siesta Key & need someone with many talents & knowledge. This is not an office job. This is a newly created position & we do expect that no two days will be the same.
Anticipated activities could include:
Greet guests, answer questions, handle guest needs (e.g., additional towels, key or lock issues, help with parking, etc.)
Assist with bikes, beach carts & beach gear
Change light bulbs, batteries, air filters, touch up paint, etc. as needed
Light "handyman type" work
Attention to & assistance with general appearance of property (seating areas, plants, etc.)
Oversee housekeeper activities (you might have to pitch in if there is an emergency) & doing spot checks to ensure that cleaning meets our standards
Assist owner with special projects
Make occasional runs for supplies if needed (hardware store, etc.)
The right person will be a problem solver. We are looking for someone with a happy disposition & a true desire to help guests have an exceptional experience. We are open for business 7 days a week, but the hours are flexible. We will structure the hours & responsibilities for the right candidate.
Ability to work without supervision & maintain a high level of performance
We run background checks: you must have a clean criminal background
Drug free (must pass drug test for employment)
No smoking on property
Must have reliable transportation to property
Applicants must be able to speak & understand English
Must have a working cell phone
Weekend work is required
18 or over
