Welcome to our circus! We are an extremely active and extremely unique family looking to add the right person to our team. We have an 18 month old amazing daughter. Along with the set of challenges that come with being new parents, we are also battling ALS. Kevin was diagnosed nearly 8 years ago, and is now in a power wheelchair.
Here is where our circusĀ begins. This is a truly unique opportunity for just the right fit. We need a true team player! Someone who can confidently attend a Bucs game one day and a business function the next.
Must be DEPENDABLE. PUNCTUAL. PREPARED. Duties include, but not limited to:
-Showering
-Toileting
- Making smoothies
-Feeding (has a feeding tube)
-Dressing
-Range of motion exercises
-Light house cleaning
Hours
Monday through Friday mornings 8-1130
Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm
We are open to having multiple people to cover the hours
We would prefer someone that lives in or near Lakewood Ranch.
Kevin is the founder and CEO of A Life Story Foundation, which has raised nearly $1.5 million to find a cure for ALS. This opportunity would be very rewarding to a professional, mature, educated individual who understands boundaries and responsibilities. Someone that understands the importance of routine but isn't a robot either. We are comfortable paying very competitive wages.
