About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and HHA (Home Health Aide) to provide one-on-one, personalized care for a client in a comfortable, private home environment. This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with an individual who requires dedicated support.
The client is a kind, 65-year-old female who is a left leg amputee and has left arm limited mobility. Our goal is to ensure the highest quality of life, focusing on dignity, independence, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
The HHA will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Mobility Assistance: Safe transfer of the client ( bed to chair) using proper transferring techniques and equipment.
Medication Reminders: Prompting the client to take prescribed medications.
Light Housekeeping & Meals: Preparing simple meals and performing light tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment.
Accompanying them to appointments.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 6 months
Personal Attributes: High degree of patience, empathy, reliability, and professionalism. Must be physically able to handle required tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
References: Must provide a minimum of two professional references.
