Hello! I am looking for a compassionate, reliable, and organized person to assist my mother.
My mother is a retired professor and writer with a fabulous sense of humor. She requires some help at home because she has some mobility issues. At the moment, we are looking for someone who can work either:
1) An evening shift on Saturday and/or Sunday from about 5-10 PM or 4-9 PM.
2) Or, we are also hoping to find someone (maybe the same person) who could occasionally stay overnight maybe once or twice a month if my mother isn’t feeling well.
If you have the flexibility to provide back-up coverage other times occasionally, that’s a plus. I realize that these shifts are not exact and that's by design. If you and my mother are a great fit, we'll figure out how to find steady shifts that work for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of simple meals
- Grocery shopping or errands at the beginning of the shift.
- Providing company and taking walks, etc.
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and straightening up
Rate: $20-25/hour (Flexible for the right person)
