We are seeking a committed, professional caregiver for an adult patient with an ongoing medical condition. This a long-term role that requires more than basic care-it requires intelligence, reliability and the ability to truly connect.
What This Role Involves
- Learning and applying knowledge about patient's condition and its day to day implications
- Attentiveness to early symptoms or changes that could be life saving
- Supporting daily activities while encouraging music, exercise , mental stimulation
- Building a steady, supportive relationship with the patient
- Providing hands-on assistance, which requires reasonable strength, mobilty and stamina
- Warm and caring interaction and emotional support, fostering a supportive environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Personal care assistance, bathing, dressing, bathroom needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Nationwide clean criminal record (will be verified)
- Dependable and punctual
- Independent worker and fast learner who takes initiative
- Physically capable of safely assisting with mobility, and able to move comfortably within areas that may be challenging
- Professional communication should be mature as only serious applicants will be considered
- We are seeking a long-term commitment- this is not a temporary or casual role
