Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to encourage a deep and meaningful connection.
Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, meal preparation, light yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
What do we look for in a caregiver?
· We don’t require our caregivers to be of a certain age or possess a particular level of experience, just a passion for helping seniors in the community continue to live independently.
· Our caregivers should encompass the following traits:
· Can relate to the aging process, helping those we serve navigate the challenges that growing older can bring
· Enjoys helping others
· Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community
· Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies with a senior companion

We spend time getting to know potential caregivers throughout the interview process. It’s important that we get a feel for your background, interests, and hobbies so that we can pair you with a senior who can relate.
Candidate Requirements:
· Level 2 Background Check or have one completed prior to employment
· Able to provide professional and personal references
· At least 18 years of age
· Proof of US residency
· Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
· No experience required. Training is available.
