Design Services is a family owned and operated Sarasota Designer Warehouse.
We service both commercial and residential clients and specialize in receiving, storage, delivery, and installation of furniture, accessories, and art.
We are seeking a responsible experienced Mover/ Truck Driver/Inspectors to do local deliveries as well as assembling and installing furniture for our commercial and residential customers and to distribute goods promptly to our customers. A CDL is not required but a Florida drivers license with a clean driving record ( 5 years ) is a must to become a driver
Responsibilities
Drive and operate a Non CDL straight box truck
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, deliver, assemble and install a wide variety of items for local customers
Follow routes and time schedule while communicating with office
Ask for customer feedback on provided services and work with management to ensure customer satisfaction
Carry heavy objects
Use common sense and innovation to safely accomplish your tasks
Complete logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Must be able to lift 50lbs plus
Proven working experience of at least 5 years as a Mover/ Box Truck Driver
Valid Florida driver’s license/CDL not required
Good driving record with no traffic violations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17-20.00 per hour based on exp.
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
