We're a BUSY golf car dealership, looking for a mechanically inclined, computer literate driver to join our team!
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience (personally or professionally) safely driving a truck while pulling a trailer
This is a very physical job. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, push a non-running golf cart, turn a winch, change tires, etc, in all types of weather
Operation of the following: golf car, tablet with an automotive app, air impact, hand held tools, tire jack, winch, GPS
Must be mechanically inclined. We'll train the right person to do minor installation of accessories at the customer's home.
Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; knowledge of Sarasota, Charlotte and
Manatee counties is a plus
Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to problem solve with minimal supervision
Must have customer service experience, the ability to communicate professionally with a
wide variety of customers and staff, ability to remain calm with challenging customers and situations
We are a drug free workplace and the leading candidate will be required to drug test. We reserve the right to drug test employees for suspicion and randomly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Professionally and efficiently represent Affordable Golf Cars while driving the company truck and trailer to pick
up and deliver golf cars to customers' homes
Transport 6 golf cars from manufacturer in Tampa to our store in Venice, approximately once a week
Provide polite, professional customer service: call/text before picking up/delivering, explain invoices, thoroughly educate customers on how to operate and maintain their new cart upon delivery, act as the liason between the customer and staff, suggest solutions, show empathy
Work closely with coworkers to adhere to delivery schedule, ensure quality, convey customer concerns
Use the automotive app to share the status of the pickup/delivery with coworkers, take payments, adhere to the schedule, text customers, take photos, record: inspections, work completed on site, customer concerns, condition of carts
