We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team at a condo community in beautiful Siesta Key, FL. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and more. This is a part-time temporary position requiring 20 hours per week that could become permanent for the right individual.
Schedule: 8 AM – 12 PM Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Flexible, however, must be able to work at least one day out of the weekend)
Pay: $19.00 per hour. This position is being offered by our staffing agency and you will be paid once per week, taxes deducted.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, office, elevators, exterior hallways, parking lots, and community buildings.
- Daily removal of trash from office areas, community perimeter, and common grounds.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor/General Manager with assigned maintenance tasks promptly.
- Assist in cleaning of designated areas.
- Prepare for weather conditions and high winds with the maintenance team.
- Report maintenance concerns for repairs to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Keep supplies and equipment in good working order.
- Perform daily disinfecting as required by CDC guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Must be able to pass a local and national criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle as per community needs.
- Successful completion of a drug test.
- Ability to perform tasks without seeking outside assistance.
- Team player mindset with a focus on resident and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of various foliage, flowers, trees, shrubs, and greenery maintenance.
- Familiarity with gardening products such as fertilizers and pesticides.
- Experience with sprinkler systems and landscaping equipment.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work.
