Lot Porter/Attendant opening with our friendly sales department at Sunset Buick-GMC.Our valuable lot attendant/porter is vital to keep our busy, new car dealership running smoothly by coordinating our vehicle inventory on the lot. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Full time.$15-17/hr to start.
Lot Porter-Attendant Duties
As a porter for Sunset Buick-GMC, you will be busy transporting vehicles around the dealership and maintaining our sales lot and inside showroom/sales areas. Duties range from checking in vehicles from carrier trucks to restocking supplies and everything in between. Duties may include:
Keep new and used cars lined up in the sales lot
Take delivery of new vehicles from transport trucks
Check vehicles in the lot for tags, emblems stickers
Monitor outside of dealership and keep up appearance, including promotional items
Maintain showroom and sales customer areas, including stocking supplies, light cleaning/maintenance, etc.
Other duties assigned to assist in the operation of the dealership
Lot Attendant-Porter Requirements
Lot porters at Sunset must be dependable, have excellent driving skills, and a desire to do what is necessary to keep things running. Other requirements include:
Valid driver's license and verifiable work history
Physical ability to work outside much of the day including extensive walking, lifting, etc.
Previous dealer experience a plus
Ability to juggle multiple demands and work independently
