We’re seeking motivated and dependable Pool Preparation Crew Members to join our renovation team. This position involves preparing residential and commercial pools for resurfacing and renovation, including chipping, grinding, pressure washing, acid washing, and cleanup.
This is a physically demanding, outdoor role — ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and can handle the Florida heat.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of pool surfaces for plaster or pebble finish
Chip out old plaster, grind rough spots, and ensure proper surface adhesion
Perform acid washing, neutralizing, and thorough pressure washing of pools
Set up and tear down work areas, tools, and equipment each day
Handle materials, tools, and debris safely and efficiently
Follow supervisor instructions and safety guidelines at all times
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Report any pool structure or equipment damage immediately
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in pool construction, concrete, plaster, or related trades preferred (willing to train motivated candidates)
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor outdoors for extended periods
Heat Tolerance: Must be accustomed to working in the Florida sun and high humidity for long hours
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from job sites across Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties
Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
