Responsibilities
Officiate flag football games, ensuring fair play and enforcing rules
Learn, understand & enforce the NFL Flag rule book (We will can train you on updated rules if needed)
Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior communication skills with players, coaches, and spectators
Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during games
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Sport-specific officiating experience preferred, playing or coaching experience acceptable (flag or tackle football preferred)
Ability to work Saturday mornings from 9am -1 pm for the full duration of the season, 8 weeks Winter Season Dec 6-Jan 31
Must complete NFL Flag Officials Online Training and obtain NFL Flag Officials Certification, if do not already have
Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Must be 18 years or older
Compensation - $30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience
NFL Flag Venice is a youth flag football league located at the church field next to Taylor Ranch Elementary School. We currently run kids grades kindergarten thru high school with Co Ed and All Girls divisions. Currently, we run winter and spring seasons each year.
