The receptionist serves as the face of our law firm by answering incoming calls, greeting guests, scheduling appointments, preparing legal paperwork, and being the initial point of contact for the firm for current and prospective clients.
We are looking for a highly motivated multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to answer calls quickly and professionally, listen empathetically, and perform office duties that help support a busy law practice.
The ideal team member is professional, punctual, polite and attentive. The ideal team member is someone who has excellent communication skills, has the ability to remain calm under pressure and has a strong personal focus on meeting or exceeding individual, department, and Firm goals.
Responsibilities:
Assures that all phone calls are answered professionally and in a friendly manner
Listens empathetically to all callers
Delivers world-class client service
Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible or cannot be improved
Receives and welcomes guests as they arrive
Prepares client and potential client paperwork
Schedules appointments and phone calls for attorneys
Assists attorneys as needed with administrative tasks
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized, efficient and proactive with an attention to detail
Prior law firm experience preferred, but not a must
