We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Specialist to amplify our online & in person presence and engage with our community. We have many avenues of business that need marketing attention. Our business includes private chef work, weddings & cocktail parties, private jets, deliveries, sports teams as well as our food truck.

Position Overview:
As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the business owner to work on ideas. This role requires 15-20 hours per week in 3 days on location at our catering kitchen. There will be opportunities for growth as well for the right candidate. Taking pictures and video a must, willingness to pickup the phone and make some calls a must, working closely with an outside company that runs our ads. Email campaigns, Social media posting daily,
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy including brand awareness
- develop in person personal relationships with other local businesses and business owners
- Define the most important social media KPIs and measure success rates
- Manage and oversee social media content
- Develop new content and ideas with film or photo.
- Develop promotional ideas and implement including email newsletters, contests, media posting, wedding shows, networking events, passing out flyers, developing a contact list, following up with previous clients etc.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Collaborate with owner, web design company, Sales, and Catering teams
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role or marketing education.
- Experience in content management
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- People skills
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, self driven, creative
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
