Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Installation Technician to join our team in Bradenton, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of signs for various commercial and residential clients. This role involves working with a variety of materials and tools while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Safely and efficiently install signs, including electrical, non-electrical, freestanding, wall-mounted, monument, pole, pylon and applied vinyl.
Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair damaged signs, including electrical components such as LED’s, power supplies, and preferably digital displays.
Site Preparation: Conduct site surveys to ensure proper placement and secure installation.
Compliance: Adhere to all local codes, regulations, and company safety standards during installation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including designers and project managers, to meet client specifications and deadlines.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients on-site, addressing questions or concerns during installations.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of prior experience in sign installation, construction, or a related field is preferred. Must be able to operate a sign bucket truck.
Skills: Proficiency in operating tools and equipment such as lifts, drills, saws, and other power tools.
Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring for illuminated signs
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights using ladders or lifts, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
License: A valid commercial driver’s license and a clean driving record are required; a CDL license is a plus.
Certifications: OSHA safety certification or willingness to obtain one.
