Large demolition and concrete cutting company is looking for an entry level office assistant in their demolition office.
Looking for someone to be the assistant in the demolition office of the company. Must be able to multi task and follow directions. Position will entail answering phone calls from customers wanting to schedule jobs, scheduling jobs, confirming jobs for the next day, job costing, file review, paperwork intake from the guys, making up job tickets for the next day along with administrative tasks that need to be done such as following up on emails, communicating with customers to schedule jobs, communicating with insurance companies, contractors and department heads.
Must have a good phone etiquette as you will be speaking with a variety of people.
Must be good with numbers and be able to add and subtract.
Must be able to type work orders using proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. Be detail oriented and specific.
Must be self motivated, ask questions and organized.
Must be personable and able to talk to contractors intelligently.
Must be able to learn jobs and files, make sure all job costs including all expenses are accounted for and labor hours.
Someone familiar with demolition/construction is helpful but not required.
