Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electrician helpers/apprentices for a commercial project in the Venice, FL area
PAY: $22-$24/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (possible Overtime)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
START DATE: ASAP
Duration: 6+ months
Electrician Helper/Apprentice Job Description:
We are looking for an electrician capable of bending and running conduit, pulling wire, will be assisting the installation of underground conduit.
Qualifications for Electrician helper/apprentice:
2+ years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
This role will involve assisting with electrical upgrades, fixture replacements, and new installations throughout the property
Assist with the installation, replacement, and repair of lighting fixtures (including ceiling fans, can lights, and recessed lighting).
Run, pull, and terminate electrical wiring and cables as directed.
Install switches, outlets, receptacles, and cover plates.
Support conduit installation (EMT/PVC) and bending as needed.
Perform material handling and ensure job site cleanliness and organization
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
Must have standard electrical hand tools.
Additional Requirements for apprentice Electrician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
