We are a small, family owned company founded in 2005.
We currently seeking an experienced and dependable pool technician to join our team.
As a pool technician, you will be responsible for managing routes, providing standard maintenance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Therefore, prior experience in this role is highly preferred.
The position is open for part-time with the potential for full-time for the right candidate.
Onboarding will be preformed with the owner to assess skill level.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pool maintenance and repair
- Ability to manage routes with minimal supervision
- Must have your own vehicle that is capable of towing a trailer
(Company vehicle provided after probationary period)
- Must be a friendly and punctual self-starter
- Willingness to take accountability and work with customers to resolve complaints
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs and able to complete tasks in the heat / weather (within reason)
- Ideally, candidates should be within a reasonable distance to job sites to minimize delayed start times
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize existing routes to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to customers.
- Conducting regular maintenance on swimming pools, spas, and related equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, etc.
- Cleaning & servicing pool equipment, including backwashing filters, vacuuming pools, and brushing pool walls and floors.
- Balancing the pool chemistry, including testing and adjusting pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and other chemical levels as needed.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with pool equipment and systems and providing cost-effective solutions to fix them.
- Communicating effectively with customers, providing updates on the status of work being performed and answering any questions they may have.
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided, including work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently, following all company policies, procedures and industry best practices.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including keeping your vehicle clean and well-stocked with the necessary tools and equipment.
