Due to our tremendous growth in 2024, Green Cooling Solutions is seeking a professional, experienced HVAC Technician and/or Installer to join our growing team! GCS is not just a place to get a job; it's a place to forge a career and obtain your individual goals!

With this in mind, we have created policies to give employees time off when needed, opportunities for the staff to offer suggestions and implement their ideas, paid training, encourage and pay for staff members to get certified and credentialed (NATE), and even stopped offering 24-hour service so our staff can have more time with their families. For instance, this year (2022) we gave every member of our staff the week between Christmas and New Years off, with pay, so they could spend a week with their families without using their PTO.

3) Get and Keep Customers. While preserving our employees mental and physical health is priority number one for us, a close second is our clients. After all, without them there would not be an us! At GCS, we believe in always taking care of the customer, even when they are not necessarily right. We believe our clients deserve an honest assessment of that is ailing their HVAC system and a fair price to repair it. We believe our employees should have the ability to offer the client what is in the clients best interests, without it impacting their paycheck. We know our clients want us to have a professional appearance and we demand that from our staff. We are not a jeans and t-shirt kind of company! We are professionals, we drive professional vehicles, use professional tools, dress professionally and conduct ourselves accordingly. We believe being honest and professional are the two most important traits to getting and keeping customers.

Job Description: Under the supervision of our Operations Manager and in compliance with the industries best practices, you will need to perform residential and commercial service calls. This service work includes using our dispatching software, completing paperwork thoroughly, communicating issues to the client, making recommendations and repairs and performing "on call" duties as needed. (On Call currently 3 days a month and ends at 9pm)

Beyond service work, this is a great opportunity for ambitious candidates to learn about Aeroseal (www.aeroseal.com), duct leakage testing, blower door testing and a host of other non-traditional HVAC skills.

Qualification Requirements:

Candidates willing to perform all facets of HVAC including, service, maintenance and installation will receive priority.

Candidate must live in Manatee south of the Skyway bridge or Sarasota County north of SR72.

Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience.

Basic hand tools, gauges, drills, (tool account available for other required tools)

Strong communication skills required.

Ability to use a tablet with a CRM.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure and technical manuals.

Ability to write routine digital invoices and correspondence.

Available for on-call duty (current rotation is once every 8 days, or 3-4 days a month)
