We are a high-end RV Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking to add another Service Technician to our team. We have been in business for 40 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated. We build both Class-C and Class-B motorhomes on a variety of Ford and Mercedes cutaway chassis. Everything from fiberglass body fabrication, frame extensions, flooring, cabinet building, upholstery, and even our exterior coach painting is done here on premises.
Though we are primarily a motorhome manufacturing plant, as a convenience to our customers we do maintain a Service Department. In said Service Department we only do service work on motorhomes we have produced. That being said, there aren't constant variations of coaches to figure out or lots of guess work required once applicant has been educated on our product through experience. We build a few different floorplans though when it comes to serviceable items, much of our units share component locations. You will also have the added benefit that with everything being at the same location, the manufacturing crew that likely assembled the unit is still here on premises.
If hired, employee will be responsible for taking Customer Service phone calls, scheduling appointments, recording labor hours per job, recording the required parts per service job, and conducting service work.
All tools and person protective equipment will be provided. Applicant must be regularly familiar with tools such as a drill, screw gun, air saw, and air grinder. Applicant must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately. RV service experience is required. Applicant must be familiar with motorhomes.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am till 3:30pm with a 1/2-hour lunch from 11:30 till 12:00pm. Pay will be hourly and depend on applicant's prior experience. Benefits package includes Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Optical Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Major Holidays, and Paid Time Off.
