General Description
Conduct surveys of existing roofs for estimating team to use for roof replacement proposals.
Duties
Survey existing roof systems, documenting all aspects of roof with thorough notes and photos, including drone photos.
Perform core cuts of existing roof systems.
Document results from survey using applicable reports and submit in a timely manner to estimating team.
Work closely with estimating team to ensure accurate information is provided.
Communicate and coordinate with the bid coordinator on all ongoing projects.
Attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of roofing systems including sloped roofs (shingles, tile, metal) and low slope (TPO, built up and modified.)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word.
Drone experience/license or willing to train and earn license.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent customer service skills and able to represent ARSM in front of customers in a professional manner.
Exceptional organizational skills.
A good driving with no major infractions for the past 3 years / valid license.
Physical Demands
Able to lift materials and equipment, work from heights, and be outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Able to climb ladders and stairs frequently throughout the day.
Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs.
Able to drive for long periods of time.
Ability to work more than 40 hours a week when required.
Experience
1 year experience in the roofing industry to include sloped and flat roof applications preferred, willing to train a candidate with construction knowledge/background.
Experience working on occupied properties preferred.
