Window Treatment Professional/Lead Needed!
A regional window treatment retailer, looking to expand, is actively seeking a skilled and well-managed technician for its Sarasota location. Having serviced the Sarasota/Bradenton market for nearly 20 years our firm prides itself on the highest level of client relations, with a heavy emphasis on providing an exceptional experience, before, during, and after the purchase.
THIS POSITION WILL RUN FOR 90 DAYS. AT THE END OF THE PROJECT, BASED ON PERFORMANCE, IT CAN BECOME PERMANENT, WITH FULL-TIME STATUS, PAY INCREASE, AND JOB EXPANSION.
Position Overview
We have an opportunity for an experienced custom window treatment Technician/Store Lead
Schedule and coordinate installation appointments, service calls, and sales calls with our customers, by working with the store scheduler
When requested, conduct complex measurements for products; including shutters
Receive the product at your location and verify that all products have arrived in good condition
Be able to complete service calls, through trouble-shooting, and learned knowledge
Confidently be able to complete sales calls, utilizing provided Hunter Douglas samples and literature
Professionally represent the firm in our retail store and at client location(s)
Resolve issues while continuing to provide excellent customer service
Continue to build the brand locally through meet and greets, Chamber events, and other methods of business expansion
Other duties as needed, this is a lead position

SELF-PROVIDED transportation and tools. After the initial 90-day trial period, if completed exceptionally, a company vehicle, tools, and equipment will be provided along with full-time status.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Experience and proven measuring skills
Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters
Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments
Leaves positive and lasting impressions
Strong organizational skills
Basic computer skills; emails, printing, scanning, downloading/uploading to website
Currently possess or willing to obtain liability insurance
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE WILL BE AN EXTENSION OF THE FIRM, DURING AND AFTER BUSINESS HOURS.
