A well-established automotive dealership in Venice, FL is seeking a skilled and motivated Master Service Technician to join their dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and more. You will also perform routine maintenance services, manage warranty repairs, and assist in mentoring junior technicians. The ideal candidate will be proficient with electronic diagnostic equipment, have a proven track record of efficient repairs, and demonstrate a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $25-40 / hour
Master Service Technician Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, in accordance with dealership standards
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and estimated repair time
Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
Complete manufacturer training to stay updated on new technologies
Mentor junior technicians and assist with complex repairs
Document all work accurately for warranty and service records
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
Master Service Technician Requirements:
3+ years of experience as an automotive technician
Must have experience with electronic diagnostic equipment and software
Proven track record of performing repairs accurately and efficiently
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Experience in turning 40 hours of work weekly
Strong proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and advanced repair equipment
ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer certifications are preferred
