Qualifications
Current USCG Licensure, 6 Pack and higher
Current and up to date Medical Card
Enrolled and current in the APCA Drug Consortium
1 or 2 references from prior Captain experience
Familiar with Tampa and Sarasota Bays
Ability to use and navigate in and out of a Boat Lift
Professional appearance and demeanor
Enthusiastic
Great personality
Able to move fast and make decisions
Excellent customer service
Creating a fun environment and memorable experience for the customer
Physically capable and an understanding in anchoring
Can swim and dive
Ability to navigate in and around tight spaces and around boats
Proficient in Wind directions, Tides and weather apps (radar) specifically in the Tampa Bay Region
Excellent and consistent in post trip maintanence in washing down boat, taking out trash, etc- My rule: Leave the boat the same way you found it, my boat has to be turn key for the next Captain or trip as we often get day of charters
