Growing Estate Liquidation Company seeking a mature and reliable person to be part of an estate liquidation team. This job is ideal for persons with flexible free week and weekend hours and who otherwise have other sources of income, are non-smokers and without any serious physical limitations. The candidate should possess an out going personality and be of sound character and is seeking extra income from 1-3 liquidation assignments per month. Extra non related work in between sales is also possible.
The work would involve staging and pricing of home contents prior to sale days and participation in the sale itself. Individual should be able to lift light loads and assist customers in removing small pieces of furniture to curb from the point of sale. Although not required, a bonus would be an employee with a pick up truck who can also make extra money negotiating their own price with buyers who need delivery of purchases.
The ideal candidate would have already had prior experience in this line of work but otherwise should have a flexible schedule and be adept at or have experience in professional home cleaning, shop window decorating, staging, dealing with customers at point of sale, item pricing and selling. Knowledge of antiques, collectibles, general home merchandise, furnishings and their valuations are a plus.
The work is on an assignment to assignment and contractual basis, with straight cash with no deductions. Bonuses from extra productive sale events are possible. Background check required.
