This role is an on-call role, not full time. On-call Monday through Friday. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that our customers expect. This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Experience in driving and handling mail is strongly desired. Key Information:Monday Friday (on-call)First Shift (7:30am-4:30pm)Pay rate is $12.62 per hourLocation: Melbourne, FLIdeal Experience for the Mail Courier Position:Professional driving experience with companies such as FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service (USPS) or similar organizations that handle mail/parcel deliveriesExperience in handling and/or sorting mail and packagesCorporate mail room experienceKey Responsibilities:The Mail Courier/Driver will collect and deliver mail and packages to and from specified locations.Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery.Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery.Ensure the security and confidentiality of all mail and packages.Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.Report any issues or delays encountered during delivery.Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
