Matt's Casbah in Historical Downtown Melbourne is seeking an experienced, professional and detail oriented line cook. Looking to hire immediately. Pay will be based on experience level. Taking full time and part time applicants.
Responsibilities include:
Set up work station with materials and supplies
Perform cooking duties and related functions under the supervision of the Chef
Ensure high levels of food quality
Follow established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines
Maintain a clean work area
Take direction and communicate and clearly
Minimum Requirements:
3 years experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Possess current and proper knowledge of usage and maintenance of kitchen equipment
