compensation: $22/hour
Responsible, patient, nurturing caretaker needed for 2 hours each day Mon- Sat. (10 AM-noon each day) for 70 year old woman with some physical limitations. Must be able to help her start her day with the right medications, food (she's diabetic) and ten minutes of rehab movements which I will show you. She has a little Chihuahua and the right candidate would help her feed her dog each morning and direct "Ginger" (the dog) outside into the fenced in garden for its morning business. If there's any time available, (which there could be if she's already up and taken her meds and breakfast before you get there), then help with basic housekeeping would be appreciated. Additional hours would be available for doctor's visits and to take her to social outings if you are interested in additional hours and they work for your schedule. We are not expecting you to be available beyond these morning hours, but additional hours are available if desired.
Note: Mom has indicated that she will only feel safe with a woman caregiver. She will not consider hiring a male applicant because men make her feel unsafe. Thank you for understanding.
