We are looking to add a full-time employee to our work family. We run a honeybee operation based out of Mims, Fl. We do some crop pollination as well as honey production and produce and sell some surplus honeybees.
Candidates must not be allergic to Honeybee stings.
Must be able to work efficiently and handle working outside in Florida heat and humidity, as this is a very labor-intensive job.
Must be able to work irregular hours, sometimes 20 hours a week sometimes 70 plus a week. In the summertime we start before sunrise most of the time and when we must move bees we work nights. We always strive for Sundays off however it is possible to have one or two Sundays a year that we must work.
Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 80lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to work independently.
Drug and Alcohol-free work environment.
Must possess a can-do attitude.
Need to be able to speak English fluently, a plus if you can speak Spanish as well.
We will require a background check
Would be a plus if you are mechanically inclined and can do basic vehicle and equipment maintenance and minor repairs.

This will be a salary-based position with 10 days paid time off after 120 days. Starting pay is 35k-50k with growth potential for the right candidate, guaranteed 3% raise per year with opportunity for bonuses.
