Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Laborer to assist with terminal operations. This position will involve a variety of tasks that support plant operations and traffic flow. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical skills, experience with hand tools, and the ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist plant operations with various tasks as needed.
Support traffic flow operations, including directing trucks to designated parking and loading areas.
Inform truck drivers where to park and receive loads.
Perform cleanup duties and assist with unloading materials.
Conduct basic maintenance tasks.
Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks.
Follow directions and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical skills are preferred.
Experience with hand tools is required.
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
A team player who works well with others.
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Must be able to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
