We are in need of one more FULL TIME person for one of our crews. Summer is almost here and we are growing.
We want the right person. If you have experience in lawn care, we are the company you have been looking for. If the company you currently work for doesn't value you, then we are the crew for you. If you are tired of working with burned-out stoners and not being sure if you are gonna have a job next week, then it's time to jump ship and come over to the better side.
Experienced applicants ONLY. You must have at least 1 year of experience running sticks to be considered. But how am I supposed to get experience if nobody will hire me? Someone with a startup lawn care company will hire you. Come to us once you have a summer under your belt.
You will get paid, ON THE BOOKS. We aren't gonna pay you cash so you can collect unemployment. We aren't gonna 1099 you. We aren't gonna pay you in food stamps.
If you can run a weedeater and edger without supervision we will pay a premium. We want you to stick around, so we will pay you what you are worth. We know rent is high, gas prices are through the roof. We aren't paying 2001 wages. We will get you settled in on a crew with 5 days a week of full work.
OUR SHOP IS IN MELBOURNE
Requirements are:
Non smoker or someone who can go without chain smoking.
Dependable transportation and a valid NOT SUSPENDED drivers license
A cell phone that works. This means I don't have to call your BM's cell phone cause yours ran out of minutesagain.
Good attitude. Don't be a jerk. Don't expect to come on board and in 3 weeks be riding a mower nonstop. We need stick men. We know its hard work. We pay SALARY. We do not pay hourly.
We need a team player that takes criticism well and improves. If this ain't you, then we aren't the ones.
We have laid-back crews who get it done. No games. No drama. You get MOST weekends off. 40 hours are guaranteed each week. We take care of our employees. Paid time off, sick time, and other perks once you hit 90 days.
We supply shirts, hats, and PPE. We aren't for you if you want to wear no shirts, flip flops, and chain-smoke while working. We will look and act professionally. If you can do that, you will get paid well to represent that image. We know this is not a good fit for everyone, and we respect that. Stick with the aforementioned stoner crews.
Let me sound like a broken record. You will get paid weekly on the books, via direct deposit. You need a bank account This is not a 1099 job and not a cash job being paid daily. This isn’t under the table so you can collect unemployment.
We are licensed, insured, and have workers comp. We have 100+ five-star ratings on multiple platforms for a reason. It isn't because we play games.
Pay will be based on experience. About $650-$700 a week to start, with raises based off performance.
If you currently work for another lawn care company, we expect you to give 2 weeks' notice before we bring you on. Whatever you do, that’s on you. We are telling you that if you are gonna leave another company high and dry, that's on you.
