Job Description
Laundromat Store Attendant Job Summary:
Assist self-service laundry customers as needed with washers, dryers, coin machines, vending machines and washer/dryer issues. Perform washing, drying, folding of drop-off laundry customers according to procedures. Help maintain cleanliness of store, machines, and customer satisfaction. Position is up to 30 hours a week. Must be able to work weekends.
Attendant Responsibilities:
Receive wash and fold orders and enter into cash register.
Sort laundry items received for washing by colors and whites.
Preform washing of 200 pounds of laundry a day.
Load & operate dryers, insuring proper weight of load and correctness of temperature.
Neatly fold and bag laundry or place in customer's basket for pick up.
Maintain cleanliness of store by wiping countertops, machine tops and soap receptacles.
Make sure trash is not overflowing and the floor is kept dry and clear of debris.
Keep bathroom clean and stocked.
Help customers using washers, dryers and vending machines and coin machines.
Check lint screens for lint and cleans lint filters as necessary to maintain optimum efficiency of dry.
Report any equipment not working properly to management.
Provide refunds to customers when necessary.
Restock soap vending machines, and report on inventory counts.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
Must be able to work under pressure with a variety of customers and personalities.
Must be good with people and work well with others.
Must be able to lift minimum of 20 pounds on a consistent basis.
