NOW HIRING! Sheet Metal Fabricator & Shop Helper at Metal Roof Factory. These are full time positions Monday through Friday 7AM - 4PM. We are a local, family owned an operated metal roofing manufacturer in Rockledge, FL. We cut and fabricate flat sheet metal into roofing panels and components. We service all of Brevard County and many parts of Central Florida.
Sheet Fabricator - You will plan, lay out, cut, and fabricate sheet metal products and parts. You will get to put your technical and mathematical skills to use operating tools and machines and taking measurements according to drawings. This role will be great for anyone who wants to make the most of their abilities and grow with a family-oriented company committed to hard work.
Shop Helper - You will assist other shop employees such as handling sheet metal products and parts, maintaining a clean/safe work environment, loading/unloading materials and going on deliveries.
Hourly rate depends on experience/position. After probationary period, you will receive paid holidays, paid sick/personal days, and 5 days paid vacation.
Preferred:
1-4 years of sheet metal or construction experience
Experience operating a Forklift
Knowledge of how to use a shear, computerized brake
Required:
Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift heavy materials and tools (40+ lbs)
Must be able to read and interpret drawings
Excellent math skills
Strong attention to detail
