Advanced Roadway MFG is the leading Manufacturer of Detectable Warning Systems. We are located in Titusville, FL Looking for an experienced compression molding tech. This Job requires to kneel, bend , crouch and lift up to but not limited to 50 pounds. The ability to wear PPE correctly for most of the day.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain molding machines to produce high-quality products
- Set up molds and ensure proper alignment and configuration
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain production efficiency
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the molding equipment
- Fabricate molds and perform mold changes as needed
- Handle materials used in the molding process, including plastics and other raw materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Must have experience in running a press
- Must have experience in small tools
-Must have experience in Compression Molding
- Proficiency in operating machines for mold fabrication
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to ensure product conformity
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers for accurate measurements
- Experience with press brake machines for bending and shaping molds
- Understanding of logic controllers for machine automation and control
