We are hoping to hire a new member to our roofing company office team to take on the basic every day tasks including; answering the phones and collecting information, data entry using Quickbooks, filing paperwork/scanning paperwork, filing permits, handling basic customer questions and concerns, scheduling future work for our crews and much more. We need someone who can adapt to changes easily with a bright personality that is eager to learn and perfect new things. Our office is located in Melbourne. We hope to find someone who can grow with our team over time.
Pay is $10.00 an hour.
The following is needed:
Ability to relay information effectively
Basic math skills
Ability to navigate the internet quickly
Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in an ever changing environment
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail
Good memory and organization skills
Valid drivers license
At least 35 wpm
Very helpful (but not required):
Bilingual - English and Spanish
Quickbooks data entry knowledge
Experience in the roofing or construction industry
Vehicle to drive to file paperwork at various locations.
Drive miles in personal vehicle to be compensated.
This job is to begin part time for the first few weeks-months, until they are trained well enough to come on full time. We are flexible with the starting hours start and end time, but do anticipate at least 25-30 hours a week. Ideal availability starting is Monday - Friday 10:30-3:30 eventually moving to Monday - Friday 9-5.
