POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, to fill additive jugs and carrying purchases to the car for customers. May be trained to perform water testing and operate the register.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma preferred. Previous retail and/or pool supply experience preferred. Will train. Excellent customer service skills required. Must have a clean, professional appearance. Must be drug free.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Fill pool additive jugs.
Carry purchases to the car.
Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, etc.
Vacuum carpeted areas daily/ Mop floors daily.
Breakdown cardboard boxes.
Dump trash.
Stock acid.
Perform water testing and operate register as needed and trained.
Any other duties, as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Must be able to interact with customers.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
