Responsibilities:

• Ensure security through controls, backups and firewalls

• Upgrade systems with new releases and models

• Build and internal lwiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

• Overseeing network infrastructure and systems functionality

• Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers

• Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)

• Do regular date backups to protect the organizations information

• Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance

• Ensure network security and connectivity

• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses

• Performing troubleshooting to systems failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network

• Testing and configuring software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices

• Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards, etc..)

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration

• Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers

• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration

Knowledge:

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role

• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management

• Knowledge of systems security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

• Knowledge of email application, AntiSpam filtering

• Knowledge of VOIP system

• Familiarity with various operation systems and platforms

• Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude

• Ability to manage multiple projects

• Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching

• Excellent knowledge of best practiced around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructures

• Experience in firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, trouble shooting, and problem resolution is desires

• Ability to set up and configure server hardware

• Experience working in Data Center

• Great at organization, prioritizing, and multitasking

• Design and install well-functioning computer networks, connections, and cabling

• Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network

• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks

• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
