I am seeking a skilled and certified scuba diver to join our team for hull cleaning operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing underwater inspections and cleanings of boat hulls, ensuring they are free of marine growth and debris.
Responsibilities:
Perform underwater hull cleanings using appropriate tools and techniques.
Conduct thorough inspections of hulls and report any damage or issues.
Maintain and care for diving equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements:
Certified scuba diver (PADI, NAUI, or equivalent).
Experience in underwater hull cleaning or similar tasks. Willing to train the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in low visibility conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with room for all gear, including tanks, cart or dolly to carry equipment on the docks. Preferably a truck or SUV.
Benefits:
Competitive pay. 60% of what the account pays if experienced and have own equipment, including tanks. 45% if no experience until trained. Then moved to 60% when trained if you have your own equipment, including tanks. If I need to supply tanks 55% of what account pays.
