Essential Duties:
Drive and operate truck to transport and dump
Operate other mechanical equipment to load truck such as front end loader
Maintain and check equipment
Prepare operational checklist to pre-trip truck and report malfunctions requiring repairs
Fuel and clean truck
Assist and/or replace other workers as needed or directed by management
Participates in making sure the quality and quantity of materials meets established customer order and standards checking for accuracy and documenting quantity received
Adhere to all Company and OSHA rules and regulations at all times
Meet or exceed company safety standards
Ability to carry out simple oral and written instructions
Ability to operate equipment in reverse utilizing mirrors
High level of attentiveness to operate truck safely at all times
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/customers as well as function safely around heavy equipment
Work Environment: Work will be primarily outdoors in various temperatures
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Florida Drivers License
Please be punctual and reliable
Ability to multi-task is a must
Able to read, write, and speak English
Prior experience with similar or same equipment and truck a plus
Must be able to work in a team setting and with limited supervision
