FedEx AVP Driver from your own vehicle
We are looking for qualified candidates to join our FedEx team as alternative vehicle program drivers (AVP driver). If you’ve been a pizza delivery driver, food delivery driver, marina hand, general laborer – you are used to working hard, hustling and have some business driving experience then please apply. Must have a clean driving record, be able to pass a background check, drug screening
We offer an opportunity for AVP drivers to deliver small packages from their own vehicle in the Palm Bay area. This will require a vehicle that is less than 10 years old, in good physical appearance, has current registration and is insured.
We will pay between $1.70 and $2 per stop. A decent driver should be able to deliver 20 stops per hour. A FedEx driver will meet with the AVP driver to provide packages. The AVP driver can then rendezvous again with another FedEx driver to get more packages. The AVP driver can potentially deliver 60-100 packages per day.
We provide training and support for new drivers. Training pay is $13.00 per hour, a trainer will then driver with you for a few hours once training is complete to ensure that you understand the process and can reach 20 stops per hour.
Garomax Inc is a FedEx contract service provider that delivers to central Palm Bay area that includes zip codes 32907 and 32908 only. This is not a contractor 1099 position. All AVP drivers are W2 employees of Garomax Inc.
