Physically present 10am - 4pm 5 days per week (days could be flexible)

On call/available as needed outside of those hours or days.

Previous experience is not necessary as we are willing to train the right person

We operate the highest rated inn located in the historic downtown area of Saint Augustine, FL. The property itself contains 8 unique guest rooms and is within easy walking distance of everything the historic area has to offer. We are able to maintain such a high rating by going above and beyond for our guests every time - occasionally this will include doing a special in room setup of champagne or birthday decorations. Approximately one hour is allocated to cleaning each room after guest checkout, and a checklist is used to ensure everything is done. Our philosophy is that every surface gets touched every day to avoid a deep cleaning situation. As you can imagine there is a lot of laundry to be managed and staying on top of that is a priority. You will be responsible for running the inn which includes but is not limited to being physically present during designated hours, being available after hours via text and phone, helping make reservations or answer questions (this is largely done automatically through our website), prioritizing which rooms need to be cleaned first for early arrivals or late check outs, keeping the overall property cleaned up, interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, using problem solving to find solutions for unique situations, noting and coordinating any required maintenance with owners, handyman, or vendors. You will also be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and terminating part-time cleaners (within a set budget). Please understand that owners will be hands off for normal operations. The owners will of course monitor everything and will be available for guidance, training, and other support. For all normal purposes you will be running the daily operational aspects of the business This is a salary position so keep in mind occasionally some hours may be required outside of what is listed above.
