Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment information accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software
Support the front office team with administrative tasks when necessary.
Skills
Proficiency in Dental software for managing patient records and scheduling.
Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques.
Knowledge of dental assisting practices, including chairside assistance and instrument handling.
Competence in medical imaging techniques relevant to dental diagnostics.
Understanding of general dentistry procedures.
Familiarity with dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
