Licensed CNA needed for private home care, 2 days a week, part time.
Must be able to do 2 non consecutive days (this is flexible, any 2 days except Sunday)
Duties include assisting mobility challenged male patient in his 70s with personal care (shower, dressing, help getting to restroom) and giving him a pre-prepared lunch. Some light housekeeping. This is respite care so spouse caretaker can get out for longer errands a few times a week. The hours of 10-3 are preferred but that has room for flexibility.
Patient does NOT have dementia, and is NOT incontinent.
We use a "sit to stand" transfer chair which is easier than pushing a wheelchair.

PAY: $20 hour. This is paid for through a VA program the patient (a veteran) is enrolled in. Pay is biweekly and a W2 is issued at year end, so this is not "under the table". No Sundays or holidays.
MUST HAVE VERIFIABLE CNA LICENSE, have RELAIBLE transportation and live within a reasonable distance.
A background check is required (paid for by VA) Must be ok with cats. Non smoking home.
