Ponce Landing Complex is Looking for On Site Live in Parttime Handyman
Ponce Landing of St. Augustine Beach Homeowners’ Association is looking for an on site live in handyman. Ponce Landing is a beautiful 57 unit townhouse community located directly on the beach in St. Augustine Beach, FL. (826 A1A Beach Blvd.) The handyman will be working for the Ponce Landing HOA.
Rent and Housing.
The Handyman is required to live in Unit # 41 as his or her primary residence. Landlord will reduce the usual rental rate to $1000 per month in exchange for 17 flexible hours per week of duties as described below. Xfinity wifi, cable TV and HBO are provided and paid by the Association.
Specific Duties of Ponce Landing Onsite Manager (estimate 17 hours/week)
a. Pools – Straighten patio furniture and hose patio and furniture daily, remove trash around the pools daily and empty both trash cans at each pool daily. Treat weeds inside the pool area as needed, and treat insects or pests as applicable. Pressure wash the pool deck, pool fence and furniture at least twice a year.
b. Grounds – Daily inspection of the grounds, including the parking lot and boardwalk, pick up trash in those areas as needed. Empty both trash cans on the boardwalk daily.
c. Trash – Put trash out for garbage pick-up once per week.
d. Pumps – Periodically test and fuel. Clean the pumps after the landscaper has serviced the Association’s property and after every heavy rainstorm. Pumps must be operational prior to any heavy rain, or storm event.
e. Emergencies – Handle emergencies as needed.
f. Maintenance and Repairs – Maintenance and repairs as needed, including light bulbs, minor electrical, and misc. repairs as needed. Upkeep of Unit # 41.
g. Rules and Parking – Address violations as needed. Walk parking lots at least twice daily, once in the morning and again in the evening.
h. Landscaping – Various projects that come up that are outside of the weekly landscaping contract, i.e., filter fabric, stones, wooden landscape borders, minor trimming, etc.
i. Special Projects – Projects will be assigned by the Association’s Grounds Director and the Association President.
