Job Description:
As an Admissions Representative, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective students to explore the various programs offered at our CDL and Heavy Equipment Operator School. You will be the first point of contact for potential applicants, guiding them through the admissions process and providing them with the necessary information to make informed decisions about their future careers.
Responsibilities:
Assist Prospective Students: Engage with potential students through various channels (phone, email, in-person) and provide them with accurate and comprehensive information about our programs, admission requirements, and career opportunities.
Application Processing: Oversee the entire admissions process, ensuring that all required documents are received and processed in a timely and efficient manner.
Interviewing: Conduct interviews with applicants to understand their goals and aspirations and to assess their suitability for our programs.
Computer Skills: Utilize our admissions management software and maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students.
Follow-Up: Communicate regularly with applicants to provide updates, answer questions, and address any concerns they may have.
Events and Outreach: Represent the school at career fairs, community events, and other outreach opportunities to promote our programs and attract potential students.
Collaboration: Work closely with other school departments to ensure a seamless transition for accepted students.
Qualifications:
Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in using various computer programs and willingness to learn new software as needed.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively connect with prospective students and understand their needs.
Flexible Schedule:
Availability to work from Wednesday through Tuesday, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Passion for Education: A genuine desire to help individuals achieve their career goals through education and training.
Motivated and Reliable: Self-driven, responsible, and committed to providing exceptional service to students.
Knowledge of CDL and Heavy Equipment Operations: While not required, prior experience or knowledge in the transportation or construction industries would be advantageous.
